Studio Yarner named in Homes and Gardens Next in Design 25 for 2025

We’re thrilled to share that Studio Yarner has been selected as part of Homes & Gardens’ Next in Design 25 - a celebration of the UK’s top emerging designers.
In its inaugural year, the initiative was created to spotlight the next generation of creative talent, while also championing inclusivity, diversity, and broader access to the interior design industry. As a relatively young studio based in South Devon, this recognition means a great deal to us - not only for shining a light on our mission to create timeless, high-quality interiors for our clients, but also for what it represents on a wider level.
This kind of recognition helps to challenge the idea that great design is confined to a particular place or scene. It shows that thoughtful, innovative work can emerge from anywhere - and that the industry is at its best when it's open, collaborative, and inclusive.
We’re also proud that this platform brings greater visibility to the South West’s vibrant creative community. The award not only recognises our studio but also shines a light on the network of independent makers, craftspeople, and small businesses we’re fortunate to collaborate with - helping to make design more accessible and broadening the conversation around where and how good design happens.
On 29th April 2025, we travelled to London for a celebratory dinner at The Emory Hotel in Mayfair, hosted by Homes & Gardens and Little Greene to mark the launch of the Next in Design 25 initiative. It was a joy to meet the other 24 designers in this year’s cohort - a truly inspiring group - as well as established figures in the industry who generously shared their time, advice and insight on growing a creative practice. The evening left us feeling energised, encouraged, and proud to be part of such a thoughtful and forward-looking initiative, and excited for what lies ahead.
